with technical support to ensure quality levels and protect the
environment and public health. Quality tests: all incoming produce
batches undergo rigorous visual inspections and regular analyses.

experience and rigour of our people ensures they are applied and

line and computerised batch control system further improves produce
selection and ensures we meet our customers requirements. Our Summer
Fruits : Melon. Members of the cucurbitaceous family melons are
vegetable fruit. They originated in Asia and subtropical Africa
and have been grown since antiquity. Rich in mineral salts and glucose,
melons can only be grown in at ground temperatures over 15°C
in soils with good exposure to the sun. Planting starts in March
and crops are picked from May to September. Varieties sold : charentais,
brodés, canaris, lisse.Our Trade marks : “La Tranche
de Miel” and “René Flavien”. Grapes . Varieties
sold: chasselas, Lavallée, Muscatel, Cardinal. Trade mark
: « La grappe de Miel ». Other information: to meet
our customers needs, and for the enjoyment of all, we also sell
a wide choice of other produce – basically all the specialities
grown in our area. Asparagus, Apricot, Spinach, Cherries, Turnips,
Strawberries, Peppers, Potatoes, Provence Spices and Flavourings,
Radishes, Seakale beet, Tomatoes, Shallots ...
Winter produce : Courgette (zucchini) is like a small, dappled green,
marrow. It is grown from March to October in greenhouses or open
fields in temperate climates. Light and easy to digest, zucchinis
are low-fat and wonderful vegetables used by chefs all over the
world. Recommended in many diet menus, consumption is growing all
the time. Varieties sold : Cora, Tosca, Seneca Zucchini, Diamant,
Affrodite, Consul, etc... all have their own, different, savours.
The local sunlight and clear air in the farmlands bordered by Carpentras,
Apt and Salon de Provence, promote natural growth and ensure top
quality produce. As soon as the "courgettes" arrive at
our centre, we check the quality and then carefully pack them by
hand. Lettuces : Varieties sold : lettuce, batavia, endive, curly
lettuce, scarole, cos, roquette, lolo rossa, rougette, etc... In
just a few years and thanks to the professional skills of our region's
market-gardeners, lettuces have become the symbol of winter agriculture
in Provence. As a member of the "Les Belles Salades de Provence"
(Beautiful Provence Lettuces ) producer group, we carefully select
all the produce we sell and implement continuous plant health control
tests on crops.
